映画のプロモーション用に撮影されたスチール写真や、雑誌・新聞などのメディア掲載を目的としたプレスフォトの「ポジフィルム」です。
作品の制作中に撮影されることが多く、俳優やスタッフの表情、セットの空気感など、当時の現場のリアリティをそのまま閉じ込めています。
一般的な「ネガフィルム」と異なり、本品は“ポジ”タイプのため、実際の色調で映し出されます。光に透かしてご覧いただくだけで、現像せずとも映画のワンシーンのような質感を楽しめます。
フィルム枠には映画タイトルや撮影者のクレジットが印字されており、当時の映画制作の熱気を伝える貴重なビンテージ資料です。

※当店で扱うフィルム関連のアイテムは、デュープポジとなります。
つまり、原盤のポジフィルムから必要な数量分を複製(デュープ)し、それをメディア向けに配布していました。
複数のプレスや出版社に同時に配布するためと、原盤を保護する役割があります。
画質はオリジナルよりわずかに劣化 しますが、 それでも十分にメディア掲載用の品質を保っています。

Film / 35mm Positive Transparency (Frame: 50×50mm)
This is a 35mm positive transparency (also known as a slide), originally used for movie press and promotional purposes.
These transparencies were photographed for magazines, newspapers, and studio publicity materials around the time of a film’s release — capturing authentic moments of the cast, crew, and set atmosphere.
Unlike standard negative film, this positive film displays the actual colors of the scene.
By holding it up to light, you can appreciate the image directly without developing it — almost like peering into a frame of the film itself.
You may also have it printed at a professional photo lab for personal enjoyment (please note that commercial use or resale of prints is not permitted).
